Shipping
Processing Time
Every Pacific Jewel piece is made to order. Standard processing is 2–3 weeks from the date of purchase. Custom Fine pieces (engagement rings, wedding bands, bespoke designs) typically take 4–6 weeks depending on complexity. Sara will give you an estimated timeline during your consultation.
Domestic Shipping (US)
Free standard shipping on all orders over $35. Orders under $35 ship for a flat $5.95. All domestic orders ship via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance included at no extra cost.
International Shipping
We ship worldwide via USPS Priority Mail International or FedEx International. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. All international shipments include full insurance. Customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility and vary by country.
Insurance
Every order — domestic and international — ships with full insurance coverage. Fine jewelry orders (engagement rings, wedding bands, custom pieces over $1,000) ship via FedEx with signature required and full declared value coverage.
Local Pickup
San Clemente locals can pick up in person at Sara's studio (106 W Mariposa Unit B, San Clemente, CA 92672) by appointment. Select "Local Pickup" at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
Made-to-Order Pieces (Pacific Jewel)
Because every piece is handcrafted to your specifications, we cannot accept returns on made-to-order items. However, we want you to love what you receive. If something isn't right — wrong size, quality concern, or it's just not what you expected — reach out within 14 days of delivery and Sara will work with you to make it right. This may include a complimentary resize, exchange, or remake.
Custom Fine Pieces (Pacific Jewel Fine)
Custom engagement rings, wedding bands, and bespoke fine jewelry are fully custom and non-returnable. Sara works closely with every client through the design process — revisions, renderings, and approvals — to ensure the finished piece is exactly what you envisioned. If there is a manufacturing defect or the piece doesn't match the approved design, Sara will correct it at no charge.
Resizing
First resize within 60 days of purchase is complimentary for all Pacific Jewel orders. Additional resizes or resizes after 60 days are available starting at $30. Custom Fine pieces include one complimentary resize within 90 days.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your piece arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. Sara will repair or replace the piece at no charge, including return shipping.
Warranty & Care
Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
Every Pacific Jewel and Pacific Jewel Fine piece comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If a prong fails, a solder joint breaks, or a setting loosens under normal wear, Sara will repair it free of charge. This does not cover damage from impact, loss, theft, or normal wear and tear (scratches, patina, etc.).
Complimentary Cleaning
Bring any Pacific Jewel piece to the studio for a complimentary professional cleaning, anytime. No appointment needed for quick cleanings. Sara inspects your piece while cleaning to catch any wear issues early.
Gold Vermeil Maintenance
Gold vermeil naturally wears over time. When your piece needs a refresh, Sara offers a gold re-dipping service starting at $55. This restores the piece to like-new condition.
